Joint Crisis Committee (JCC)

Joint Crisis Committee (JCC)

We are honored to present the Joint Crisis Committee (JCC) at ZiMUN XI 2025, focusing on the evolving situation in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), where a Rwanda-backed military group has gained a foothold in Goma. This crisis poses significant geopolitical, security, and humanitarian challenges, demanding swift and strategic decision-making from all involved actors.

The JCC is a specialized MUN format where opposing delegations/cabinets must navigate an unfolding crisis in real time. It is a whole-delegation plenary session to bring together delegations and address issues of timely global significance.

Attached below, you will find the JCC Procedure Guide and the Research Report, which will serve as essential resources in preparing for this committee. We look forward to witnessing insightful negotiations, impactful operative clauses, and intense debates as delegations rise to the challenge!

Best of luck!
